The Johnson County Courthouse,built in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features an open rotunda, six stories tall, and is supported by four columns of matched marble, ornately garnished in old ivory and gold cut plaster. Looking upward into the dome, you can see beautiful stained glass.
