This event takes place in Morgantown. The Miss West Virginia Organization and Pageant, an official preliminary to the Miss America Scholarship Program, showcases some of the most talented, educated, and socially aware women of our state. The goal of this organization is to promote the education of young women ages 17-24 who reside in West Virginia, by providing educational scholarships at every local pageant and the annual state pageant.
The Liberty High School Band Boosters will be hosting their 26th Annual Liberty Band Spectacular on Saturday afternoon, September 16, 2006 at Hite Field in Clarksburg. Gates will open at 12:00 Noon with the program starting at 2:00 PM. Admission is $5.
