Prickett's Fort State Park - West Virginia Day

On June 20, 1863, West Virginia became the 35th state to enter the Union. Come and celebrate West Virginia Statehood with $1.00 park admission and free birthday cake and lemonade.
DIRECTIONS: Prickett’s Fort State Park is two miles from I-79 at Exit 139

Always held the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
There are 9 houses on the tour. This is a self tour so you decide which houses you want to see and how long you want to stay. We will have some of our old favorites such as the Shaw House and the Meredith/Clayton Home. See Judge Showwalter’

Fairmont State University - Robert Thurmer

ROBERT THURMER INSTALLATION: An exhibition of work by this year’s Fairmont State Artist-in-Residence, Robert Thurmer, will open on Wednesday, April 25, from 7-9 p.m. in the Brooks Gallery of Wallman Hall. The exhibition will run through May 4. Admission is free and open to the public.
