Come and experience how life was in the early days in this historic village only 6 miles out of Marlinton. See Civil War Reenactmnet by the soldiers of the 36th Virginia Reenactment Unit. They will present details of Civil War soldier life, weapons demonstrations, and point out events & locations of Huntersville Civil War history. While in town stop by the blacksmith shop, the Huntersville schoolhouse reunion, old time craft demonstrations, and a big church supper with all the fixins.
