Blackwater Falls State Park - Halloween Party

Fun, games, prizes and treats in the 'Haunted House' Nature Center. This event is for children, ages infant to 12. Must be accompanied by adult. The annual Halloween Party offers fun, thrills and scares in a safe and wholesome environment.

Enjoy the annual 8 mile guided hike between Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley Resort State Park through Canaan Mountain. Shuttle service to Blackwater Falls SP available in the morning and a cook-out lunch is included at the halfway point.

Canaan Valley - Thanksgiving Celebration

Planned family activities including crafts, games, contest, hayrides (weather dependent) and winter walks. Thanksgiving Buffet dinner will be served in the Hickory Room Thursday evening.
