►25-mile, family-fun ride on the beautiful Raccoon River Valley Trail (RRVT) from Panora to Redfield and back -- rain or shine.

►Ride starts in Panora at RRVT parking lot (behind PJ's on Hwy 44/Main Street). Follow the trail to Linden and then on to Redfield's Depot along the trail and see some of the most beautiful parts of the trail. After lunch, ride returns to Panora via the same route.

►While in Redfield, enjoy a homemade lunch provided by the Redfield Development Commission and get a free tour of the newly-restored, historical G.A.R. building.

►Ride held regardless of weather -- no refunds will be issued.

The Raccoon River Valley Trail is over 50 miles, asphalt paved, multi-use recreational trail. The trail extends from Jefferson, IA through Guthrie County to Waukee, IA. The trail is used mainly for biking but there are many other ways to use the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Cross-country skiing, bird watching, hiking, and jogging are just some of the other activities the trail can be used for. The trail consists of native prairie, timber, and a variety of trees, shrubs, and grasses. The scenery is beautiful all year round for all types of activities.
