Annual Cleveland Area Gem & Mineral Show
- Visit our "Beautiful World of Rocks and Gems" - see colorful, often rare gems, crystals, minerals & fossils from around the world as well as stunning handcrafted jewelry. There'll also be live demonstrations of silversmithing, cabbing, wire-wrapping, beading and other jewelry-making arts. And the kids can go on a Treasure Dig to hunt for surprise treats and learn about rocks. Visitors will enjoy many exhibits related to the gem and mineral hobby presented by individuals, clubs and museums, and will also have a chance to shop our silent auctions or win an hourly door prize. In addition, there'll be vendors from Ohio and surrounding states offering an array of gem, mineral, crystal and fossil specimens for collectors and an assortment of lapidary tools, equipment, beads, findings and supplies for the creative hobbyist as well. The show is presented by the Parma Lapidary Club, a nonprofit organization devoted to the lapidary arts and the earth sciences. Scouts in uniform and children 12 and under are welcome at no charge.
