Visit the excavated ruins of a colonial port town founded in 1726, including the ruins of St. Philips Church and Russellboroug, the home of the Royal Governors. In addition are the earthworks of Confederate fort Fort Anderson. This site offers a unique look at two facinating periods of American History. Visitor center houses numerous artifacts.
