Camp Hawk The 43 acre park contains a 4 acre pond stocked with channel catfish, crappie, largemouth bass and sunfish. Park facilities include an enclosed shelter house (available by reservation) which contains a kitchenette, restrooms, fireplace and a large meeting room for 100 people. There are covered picnic tables, an outdoor basketball and volleyball court and a playground. No hunting is allowed.


Address: The park is located 2 miles south of Newton on I-135, Newton Exit 28 (McLains Rd), and 2 miles west on SW 36th street.
