Carnegie Hall - Old Stone Room - Creative Youth

category : Other Attractions
Recognizing talent from across Greenbrier County, Carnegie Hall proudly presents Creative Youth for the 14th year. This annual juried exhibit is for all Greenbrier County students attending public, private, parochial and home schools, in grades 4-12. The show launches “Art in Schools” month and is on display March 1 through April 20, 2007, in Carnegie Hall’s Old Stone Room.

Entry information is sent to schools in December. On February 1, representatives from the schools are invited to submit student artwork that is representative of their students’ best work. All submissions must be of work created in the current academic year however, students do not have to be currently taking art to have work submitted. Entries will be judged by a panel selected by Carnegie Hall and winners will be named by grade range (elementary, middle or high school) based on the categories of mixed media, drawing, painting, and photography.
