Cherry Hospital Museum

In the museum visitors will find written documents, photographs, books, and other artifacts that span from 1880 to present. These items provide a glimpse into the history of Cherry Hospital which opened as a psychiatric facility for African-Americans from all one hundred counties of North Carolina. Tours available.


Admission: Admission is free and individuals and groups are welcome.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
