New Strawn is located on Highway 75 in southeastern Kansas. It is situated 50 miles south of Topeka, 11 miles south of Interstate 35, about 110 miles southwest of Kansas City, Missouri and 40 miles southeast of Emporia, Kansas. The City of New Strawn has a population of approximately 500.
