Connecticut's (2012) 150th Sesquicentennial Civil War Battle Reenactment and Living History event will be held at Wickham Park in Manchester CT. Over 500 reenactors will bring the war period to life in recreations of the Battles of Antietam and Fredericksburg. Come visit the camps, chat with the soldiers and civilians of the Federal and Confederate armies, smell the campfires, see the cavalry horse, hear the cannons roar, and learn about American history. This event is hosted by CT Civil War Commemoration Commission, the Wickham Park Foundation, Central CT State University and the Travelers Insurance Company.
