Department of Natural Resources Aquarium and Hatch

Built in the 1930s, the aquarium and hatchery is located south of Lock and Dam 10. Features native freshwater fish, turtles, and amphibians of the Mississippi River, inland streams and lakes, along with trout from area trout streams. See display of mussel shells and historic shell buttons, view videos highlighting outdoor Iowa.
