The Dogwood Festival is held the last full weekend in April when the Dogwood is in full bloom. The festival features live entertainment, such as bluegrass, country and rock music. You will find artisans featuring their products, the Dogwood Quilters will be working on their quilts, apple butter making and much more. Contest for the kids, pie eating contests, a chili cook off and more. There is a horse trail ride, a cyclist tour, and more. The Grande Parade starts at 4:00 pm on Sunday. It is a great family event, come and visit with friends and relatives. It is down home fun.
