Coralville Lake Fishing

Fishing is permitted on all areas of Coralville Lake except at swimming beaches, boat ramps, developed campgrounds, and any area posted \"No Fishing\"

Devonian Fossil Gorge

Historic floods during the summer of 1993 surged over the emergency spillway and eroded a 15-foot deep channel, exposing the underlying bedrock. Visitors can walk over acres of Devonian Age sea floor and get a first-hand look at fossils normally hidden from view. Gorge open dawn-dusk daily.
