Battle of Marshall State Historical Site

The site of the Civil War Battle of Marshall, October 13, 1863 is designated at Indian Foothills Park with a State Historical Marker. The marker is placed in the park near the Battle of Marshall Shelter House near the Eastwood Street entrance to the park.

Dennis Brothers Civil War Monument

The equestrian statue is a composite of both the Confederate and Union soldier. Austin Dennis fought for the South and Davis Dennis fought for the North. The horse represents "Turk"
