Winterfest Jr.

§ Winterfest Junior is open to artists ages 6-19 who reside in Marshall County or attend a school in Marshall County.
§ Entrance fee is $5.
§ One 2-dimensional (painting, photograph, print or wallhanging) and one 3-dimensiaonal piece (sculpture, fabric, painted furniture, etc.) per artists ONLY.
§ Artwork must have been completed in the last two years by the entrant and must be the original work of the entrant.
§ It is strongly suggested 2-dimensional work be matted and shrink-wrapped. We cannot be responsible for the condition of unprotected artwork. Framing of any piece is optional.
§ Three-dimensional art (sculpture, furniture, clothing, jewelry etc.) must be of reasonable size for one person to move.
§ Cash awards will be given in each age category. They will consist of first place, second place, and third place. Honorable mentions may also be awarded, as well as subject, theme, use of color and other awards. People’s Choice Awards in each age category will be voted on by visitors to the show and will be announced at the close of the exhibit. All participants will receive a certificate.
