Seminole Cyclefest

Ride side-by-side with American heroes 25/60 miles through the picturesque townships and lakes of Seminole County, Florida with full course escort by the Seminole Sheriff’s motorcycle unit. Registration and packet pick up opens 7:00 AM at Ft. Mellon Park on Lake Monroe, 978 E. Seminole Blvd, Sanford FL. Mass start at 8:30 with well stocked rest stops approximately 15-19 miles apart staffed by the American Legion Auxiliary. Tee shirts guaranteed to all pre-registrants. Hot dogs and refreshments at ride finish. $30 for civilians; $20 for veterans, military, and first responders with proof of service; wounded warriors and injured first responders free. All monies collected go to support cycling programs supporting the rehabilitation of wounded veterans and injured first responders. This year’s event is held in the honor of local heroes who were injured in 2011. Don Eslinger Jr. was seriously wounded in Afghanistan and Sherriff’s Deputy Matt Miller was killed in the line of duty. Preregister at active.com. or register on-site on ride day.
