Join us in Downtown Lawrence where the holiday comes alive with our Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. The evening begins with singing by local choral groups as we anxiously await the arrival of Santa on the rooftop of Weaver’s Department Store. Once rescued from the roof by the Lawrence Fire Department, Santa will visit with children. The holiday season officially begins with the "rescue" of Santa off the rooftop of Weaver's Department Store.---- 5:30 ----
