Event Details

Looking for one-of-a-kind gifts, handmade artisan crafts and delicious, homemade baked goods and preserves for the holidays? More than 40 Downtown Lawrence Farmers' Market vendors are scheduled to participate in this year's Holiday Market.

As in the past, 46 booths will fill both floors of the Knights of Columbus Hall. Plan to pick-up poinsettias, fresh wreaths and garlands for decorating your home. Locally raised beef, bison, chicken, elk, emu, lamb and turkey will be available for your table. Jams, jellies, salsa and syrups are just a few of the homemade products which make excellent hostess gifts this time of the year. Honey and beeswax products will be offered from three local beekeepers. Artisan-made baskets, pottery and textiles can help you cross names off your shopping list! See the spinning demo and select wool yarn for those winter projects or opt for a hand-knit hat or woven shawl.

Doors open at 8:00 am when you can dine on cinnamon rolls and delicious baked goods. Plan to stay a while and enjoy live, holiday music and great lunch items. Grab some locally grown apples and cider as well as artisan cheeses for upcoming get-togethers.
