When General Sherman marched through the Carolinas, he was confronted by Confederate forces at the Cape Fear River. Come experience the excitement: skirmishes, firearms demonstrations, cannon firings, and a torchlight tour. Campbellton Landing is the site of some of the best-kept Confederate breastworks.

First Presbyterian Church
The church was rebuilt in 1832 after Fayetteville's Great Fire of 1831. The structure's most significant features are a wooden truss roof (the only one of its kind in North Carolina), its whale oil chandeliers and its magnificent spire.
