Old Fashioned Fourth of July

Come Celebrate an old fashioned 4th of July at Cottonwood Park in Historic Beatty Nevada. The day includes a watermelon eating contest, egg toss, 3-legged race, sack race, a wheelbarrow race and concludes with a spectacular Fireworks display at dark.

Prizes including a 35mm camera, a $500.00 savings bond, and a high powered riffle (or $200.00 cash) will be drawn just before the fireworks display–winner need not be present. Raffle tickets will be sold and drawn throughout the day, winner must be present to receive smaller prizes.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and refreshments will be available.

$14,000.00 worth of fireworks will be set off at dark for a 20 minute extravaganza.

Bring your own chairs and shade, and escape the big city for an Old Fashioned Fourth of July!
