The Shoshone Reunion was conceived in a gathering of Comanche and Shoshones discussing questions of origin, history, and language.

Some of the motivating factors for establishing a Reunion include: Quest for common history, answers to questions of relationship, history and customs, desire to reunite and learn from one another and the yearning to rekindle relationships.
