5 Falfurrias Annual October Downtown Street Carnival - The annual Falfurrias Downtown Street Carnival is always held on the last Saturday in October and is sponsored by the Falfurrias Volunteer Fire Department as a fund raiser for its organization. The event is a family-oriented fun night event. The event kicks-off with a Halloween/Homecoming Parade at 6:30 p.m. The street carnival is from 6 p.m. till 11 p.m. Booths are operated by civic, church and school organization to help them raise funds for their organization.
