Firestone Metro Park

Among its 255 acres, Firestone Metro Park features play fields, more than 3.5 miles of hiking trails, a reservable open-air shelter and pavilion, and areas for cross-country skiing, sledding and fishing. More than 175 bird species have been sighted in this park, including various types of wrens, thrushes, warblers, woodpeckers, herons and ducks. A number of different raptors ? including bald eagles ? have also been spotted.
