Funk Prarie Home The Pre-civil war, Victorian home of Illinois Senator and director of the Chicago Stock Yards, Lafayette Funk, lets visitors explore the lifestyle of a pioneering prairie family in the 1800\'s. It is decorated with historic memorabilia and original antiques including a working Victrola and formal garden. Also on display is the largest single person display of rare gems, minerals, fossils and lapidary art in the state. Group tours welcome.


Admission: Free admission. Reservations are Required and can be made by calling ahead.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 9 AM - 4 PM. Closed in January and February
