Gillette Castle State Park

River Camping - public camp along the Connecticut River, the campsites are available from May 1 through September 30 for overnight stops by those traveling on the river. The length of stay is limited to one night. Use is restricted to canoers only. The camp offer primitive, riverside sites with fireplaces and pit toilets. Mooring or docking facilities are not provided. Campers should plan on breaking camp by 9:00 a.m. $4.00 / person / night.


Hours: Reservations can be made after January 14th for camping stays between May 1st and September 30th by letter at least two weeks before an intended stay.
