Ghost Stories in the Graveyard
- Ghost stories in the cemetery are a tradition at the Museum, and veteran storyteller Cynthia Brown has been part of that tradition for many years. She will weave her spooky tales for the young, age four and up, and the young at heart. The audience, seated on blankets and sit-upons, assists in setting a "scary" mood. With the children's help, the wind blows - -ooooo, dry leaves rustle underfoot, chains clank, and a door cre-e-e-aks open. No one can resist jumping at an unexpected "BOO." Goulash! Moonlight Cemetery Walk
- There is a cemetery behind the Greensboro Historical Museum, an old cemetery developed and once used by the congregation of First Presbyterian Church. A path between the museum and the YWCA, hidden by the leaves of ever-growing trees, lures passers-by to peak over the high brick wall. There, a host armed with a light invites the curious to take a stroll, a guided stroll, along winding pine needle strewn paths. Beware!
