Additional Information
The glass Wint blows is very sculptural. The vases and paperweights are not the usual forms you might have seen. Wint uses the molten glass to sculpt unique forms. After Marla throws a piece of pottery, she carves the outside of each pot with Cherokee legends and stories. Also Marla creates a double wall pot which has a solid inner wall and a highly carved outer wall with cuts through to show open spaces between the outer and inner walls.
