The High Point Museum- Where Past and Present Meet! Visit us and meet early entrepreneurs as well as other distinctive High Point citizens. Picture jazz musician John Coltrane's hands gliding across the keys of his piano. Drive our big yellow school bus and explore changes in modes of transportation influenced the development of High Point. Explore how the twin industries of hosiery and furniture have flourished while contributing to High Point's changing identity. On weekends, step back in time in the Historical Park and let costumed guides tour you through the 1786 John Haley House, 1801 log Hoggatt House and 1850 Balcksmith Shop. Don't forget to visit our Museum Store, featuring Seagrove Pottery and other local artwork before you leave!
