Jamesport, Missouri

Jamesport is a small town nestled in the rolling hills of Northwestern Missouri. The town flourished in the 19th century until the main railroad route across the heartland drove through Kansas City, leaving towns like Jamesport off the beaten path and slowly fading into history.

Today Jamesport is reinventing itself and blossoming into a tourist destination that features a nostalgic slice of agricultural history.

Jamesport is also home to Missouri's largest Amish community and hosts a large number of both Amish and English shops and activities that cater to tourists wanting to return to days gone past. Come step back in time and join us here in our heartland paradise.
