15 - 17 Alligator Warrior Festival - The Alligator Warrior Festival, an annual non-profit event, is held in memory of the years between 1800 and 1859, when Lake City Florida was still called Alligator, Florida, and in memory of its most famous resident, the Seminole commander, Alligator Warrior, and to reenact the 1836 Battle of San Felasco Hammock. In addition to the reenactment, the event is a festival that celebrates native American and imigrant American cultures with music and dancing, living-history camps, demonstrators of historic skills, traders, craftspeople, and food vendors.
In any year, the festival is held on the Fri-Sun surrounding the 3rd Saturday in October.

13 Lake City WoofStock Festival - Join us for a fun filled day at the Darby Pavillion in downtown, Lake City, that you and your family will absolutely enjoy! Come to participate or just to watch, laugh and cheer! The Lake City WoofStock Festival has many exciting events for all sizes & breeds of dogs to enter. Breeds of all sizes can participate in the WuffStock Parade of Paws, Costume contests, and more. Visit with Animal Rescue organizations and meet their adoptable pets, all waiting to find a forever home. Who knows, you may fall in love and find your next furry family member. There will be vendors, entertainment, races, contests and great food. 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

27 - 31 Lighting of Olustee Park - The Saturday after Thanksgiving Lake City's Main Street comes alive with Christmas spirit. The lights at Olustee Park in Historic Downtown are lit at dusk and the park is transformed into a fairyland as thousands of lights illuminate the park and downtown businesses. The scene is set for the Holiday Happenings throughout the month of December. On the second Saturday of December the party really gets started with Crafts people and Artisans from throughout the area adding to the festive atmosphere of the Season. Olustee Park hosts Christmas entertainment by local groups. At dusk the Annual Christmas Parade begins with over 100 lighted entries. The parade ends in Olustee Park with the arrival of Santa Claus. You may visit Santa Claus in his gingerbread house Monday - Saturday. The Lighting of Olustee Park continues each evening until January 1st.

4 Lake City Snow Day - 40 tons of snow for children 12 and under to play on large snow hill and snow piles. Music and food. Hang around for the annual parade at dusk and the arrival of Santa!

4 Annual Lake City Christmas Parade - At dusk (6pm) the Annual Christmas Parade begins with over 100 lighted entries. The parade ends in Olustee Park with the arrival of Santa Claus. Start the annual Snow Day at 8:00am with a 5k race followed by a day of snow fun with live entertainment, Snow, Snow sled, bounce houses, food vendors and lots of free giveaways
