13KS0303009e007 - McLouth McLouth Patriots' Day Parade - Big Day in a Small town. McLouth is a CLASSIC small midwestern town. With old fashioned ideals of what makes this country great: it's people. This event is a reminder of our American origin. We seek to inclusively maintain patriotism among our citizens (and youth) through this event. We honor veterans from war and peace time. It is a day to celebrate community, all are welcome. Children's parade lineup starts at the City Building N Union at 10:30. The Main Parade line up begins at noon at the Sports Complex. Parade steps off at 1pm. Many local artisans and crafters and non-profit groups promoting awareness and services. Kid's petting zoo and other fun things for the family. Homemade Ice cream and BarBQ Dinner. Featuring Rolling Thunder MVPA.

1 McLouth Barbeque Blowout - Get a dose of hometown goodness and family fun at the 29th Annual McLouth BBQ Blowout and Kansas State Championship where BBQ teams will compete for trophies, ribbons and $5400 in prize money. This is a family and cooker friendly BBQ contest.

There will be McLouth Band pie & ice cream, concessions, kid’s rides and vendors. The Kiwanis Club will have breakfast available for cookers. Samples will be available from cookers to the public during the a.m. (A free pork butt is given to cookers for give away samples for People's Choice Award).

13 - 15KS0303009e001 - McLouth McLouth Threshing Bee and Fall Festival - The McLouth Threshing Bee keeps alive the arts of planting, harvesting, threshing and storing of grain forage crops, along with the domestic arts, and the tools, implements, instruments and machinery showing the culture of pioneer days. The educational and historical exhibits and displays are illustrated through reenactments with the working machinery.

Daily Events & Attractions: Steam Threshing Daily, 10am and 2pm. Saw Mill will be running throughout the day!
