|14||Minerva Hot Air Balloon Fest 2007 - Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to Minerva's Bicentennial Park on Saturday, 9/1/07 (weather permitting) for our Second Annual Balloon Fest. Sponsorded by the Minerva Balloon Club and Kishman's IGA, the event kicks off at 3:00 pm with music, great food and a massive lift-off of 12-14 Hot Air Balloons between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The party continues after the lift-off until 7:00 pm. Other sponsors include Kishman's IGA and the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce.|
Snode's Restored County Barn
- Snode's Farm Market opens the middle of August. Fresh garden produce, melons, crafts and more are available, along with farm field trips. You'll even find the restroom is in the silo! And don't miss out on Snode's Farm Market's famous Halloween hayrides every fall.
The facility also is available for wedding receptions, parties, etc.
