The North Carolina Ferry Division is one of the nation's largest state-owned ferry systems. We service seven routes across the scenic North Carolina coast, including service to the Outer Banks. The state offers ferry service 365 days a year, weather permitting, and gives you the perfect opportunity to visit pristine beaches, historic lighthouses, quaint villages with wonderful shopping, world-class water sports, fishing, and some of the best vacation spots the state has to offer. The state services 24 vessels ranging from 125 ft to 220 ft in length.
