Walleye, wipers, channel cat, crappie, bass,muskellunge, pike and white bass are there to test your skills as an angler. Spring up to early summer is usually the best time for walleyeor crappie. As the water warms white bass, catfish and wipers will become a bit more active.
Half of the modern campsites at Homestead
Knolls and Nunda Shoal can be reserved up to a year
prior to arrival; the remainder are available on a first
come, first serve basis. Reservations may be made
up to a year in advance of arrival date, and can be
made on-line, by phone or in person.
There are five public boat ramps where access can be gained to the lake.
