The Olathe Police Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 fund raising organization benefiting the men and women of the Olathe Police Department. Founded in 2006, the purpose of the Olathe Police Foundation is to raise funds for "resources for a safe Olathe.". These funds are used to assist the police department in providing enhanced personnel training opportunities, purchasing specialized equipment and supporting their annual officers' awards and recognition banquet along with other venues that may not be supported budgetarily. Buddy Rogers & Family's Playhouse

The Olathe Community Theatre Association presents six live theatrical productions a season, ranging from progressive, first-run fare to standard classics, including one musical and a children's theater production in June. Our building was established by the Covenant Church in 1870

Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm

J.B. Mahaffie purchased a 160-acre tract of ground 1-mile north of the town of Olathe, Kansas along the Santa Fe Trail in 1857. In 1863, J.B. and his wife, Lucinda Mahaffie, contracted to run a stagecoach stop. Serving meals in their cellar, the Mahaffies operated their business until around 1870
