Cedar Bluff Lake and State Park, thirteen miles south of town, offers great fishing, camping, and boating. While you're there, explore Threshing Machine Canyon?the site of an Indian attack on a wagon train in the Nineteenth century.

During the summer, baseball, tennis, swimming, golf, and car races are popular. In addition to ball fields, the city maintains several parks for public use.
