What used to be called the Hummingbird Experience is now part of the inaugural Pikes Peak Birding and Nature Festival; come visit our annual event in May. This is a special event for novice and lifetime bird enthusiasts. Spring migration in the Rockies is a sight to behold and often brings delightful surprises. Fountain Creek offers essential rest and food areas for resident birds as well as those migrating through the region.
