Directions: Five miles southwest of Glenwood on U.S. 70; west 23 miles on Hwy. 84 to Athens, then 2 miles west on Hwy. 246. Then north at sign for 3 miles on Forest Road 38.

A 25-acre recreation lake in the Ouachita National Forest with swimming beach, playground, hiking. Outdoor theater programs in season, tree identification interpretive trail, trail around the lake. Good warmwater fishing opportunities. Special fishing regulations: rod and reel or pole fishing only; daily catfish limit of 5; and bass minimum length of 15 inches or longer; day-use picnic area, boat dock. The campground has 93 RV/tent sites with no hookups; one RV/tent site with water and electricity; group camp and picnic shelter available by reservation only.
