29 - 30 Arkansas Scottish Festival - The sound of bagpipes echoes through the Ozarks again this spring, as Lyon College in Batesville hosts the annual Arkansas Scottish Festival. The festival, honoring Scottish heritage and traditions, features a vast array of events and exhibits, pipe bands competition, food vendors offering traditional Scottish dishes, Celtic music, sheepdog demonstrations, and, of course, bagpipes. A traditional Feast and Ceilidh is celebrated on Saturday evening and an Iona Worship Service takes place on Sunday morning.
