The Duck Smith House, a 1914 farmhouse located in Seagrove, the Birthplace of North Carolina Traditional Pottery, features lovely rooms, gardens, tobacco barns, hand built log cabins and a 100 year old walnut tree. Located in downtown Seagrove within minutes of local area potteries, the Pisgah Covered Bridge, and the North Carolina Zoo. Pet friendly.

North Carolina Pottery Center

The North Carolina Pottery Center's permanent exhibit of more than eight hundred pieces of pottery, artifacts, and photographs traces North Carolina's pottery history from prehistoric Native Americans to the present. Features six to eight changing exhibits each year. Gift shop on site.
