STPA-sanctioned Spring National Truck and Tractor Pull. Gates open at 5pm each day with concessions available. The pull starts: 7:30pm, Friday; 7pm, Saturday. Each night will have classes of Heavy Super Stock Tractors, Four-Wheel Drive Trucks, Two-Wheel Drive Trucks, Modified Tractors, and Super Farm Tractors. Sponsored and hosted by the Silk Hope Ruritans.
From Raleigh: US 64 west 13 mi past Pittsboro; see signs for G.T. Petty Memorial Grounds.~From Sanford: Take Rt. 421 north to US 64 east; see signs.~From Greensboro: take Rt. 421 south to US 64; see signs.~Fairgrounds: Silk Hope-Lindly Mill and Silk Hope-Liberty crossroads.
