Smoky Hill Vineyards & Winery Back in 1919, over 250 acres of grapes were planted in the fields around Salina. In those same fields old riding stables have been converted into a winery. Many of the winery's fine Kansas table wines are available for sampling in the tasting room. You are invited to linger awhile in the lush, green vineyards and sample the handcrafted wines in the tasting room overlooking the vineyards.
