Somerville Lake Water Sports Two private floating marinas, Big Creek Marina and Lake Somerville Marina, and 11 boat ramps provide plenty of lake access for water recreation.

The fee for boat launching at US Army Corps of Engineers operated parks is $3.00 per day. An Annual Pass, good at all US Army Corps of Engineer operated parks is available.

The fee for boat launching at Big Creek Park is $3.00. The fee for boat launching at Welch Park is $3.00. The fee for boat launching at Lake Somerville State Park (Birch Creek Unit and Nails Creek Unit) is $2.00 per person.

Big Creek Park/Marina - located on the north end of the lake, the marina offers electrical and non-electrical sites, a group shelter, and cabins (the marina now operates all of Big Creek Park -- formerly operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers). Please contact them directly at (979) 596-1616.

Overlook Park/Lake Somerville Marina - located on the south end of the lake, the marina offers electrical and non-electrical sites and cabins (the marina now operates all of Overlook Park -- formerly operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers). Please contact them directly at (979) 289-2321.
