Event Details

Chase County Victorian Dance Society's annual STATEHOOD BALL honoring Kansas' admission to the Union. Period dress (circa 1861)is encouraged, but not required. We'll welcome you in your finery of any era and please remember your gloves! Music provided by pianist Francene Sharp. Caller Mike McCartney. Refreshments available by contribution. Dance Instruction begins at 7:30; the dance begins at 8:00 PM.

The Roniger Brothers, Frank and George, were born in Highland, Madison County, Illinois. They came to Chase County, Kansas, in 1885.
