Independent Musical Productions’ “Minus the Music Series” has been a great hit over the past two seasons, and this year is no different. IMP is pleased to bring to the stage the quintessentially Southern stage classic, Steel Magnolias. What began as Robert Harling’s beautiful, cathartic memoir about his sister has become a widely beloved play and film about the hope, healing – and even humor – possible in the midst of heartache. Join the six Magnolias of Chinquapin, Louisiana as they deal with life’s twists and turns with a frankness and humor that is both heartfelt and hilarious. Free Parking and wheelchair accessible.
