Sunflower Hills Golf Course Considered one of the best municipal courses in the Midwest. 3 1/2 Star award winner Golf Digest places to play. Opened in 1977, Sunflower Hills is an 18 hole championship Golf course designed by renowned architect Roger Packard. The course is long and hilly and features large greens. Many trees make control and accuracy important parts of a good round. Sunflower Hills is open year round and is located adjacent to the Kansas Speedway, Village West and just minutes from downtown Kansas City,MO. Sunflower Hills also offers one of the newest and best Junior Golf facilities in the Kansas City area. The junior golf course features a driving range, putting green and six holes with three sets of tees on each hole.
