14 Mystics of Pleasure Mardi Gras Parade - The parades by the mystic societies in Orange Beach roll at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday. The Marshals parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Mystics of Pleasure at 6 p.m. There will be a slight gap between the parades.

28 Orange Beach Seafood Festival Car Show - The Makos Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club (MAAAC) car show is the major fundraising event for MAAAC, which directly benefits Orange Beach schools. The show features antique, classic and hot rod vehicles all along Main Street. Trophies will be awarded for many categories! Register on the MAAAC website. The fee is $75. Day of registration will be $100 at the Main Street entrance, beginning at 9 a.m.

The annual Seafood Festival always features a full day of delicious food, 100 arts and crafts booths, music for the whole family to enjoy, a Kids' Zone with activities.

28 Orange Beach Seafood Festival - The Seafood Festival always features a full day of delicious food, 100 arts and crafts booths, music for the whole family to enjoy, a Kids' Zone with activities, and a huge car show - featuring antique, classic and hot rod vehicles all along Main Street. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is no admission charge to the event and plenty of parking. Volunteers from Orange Beach schools help park cars and donations are accepted in support of our schools.

14 - 15 Orange Beach Festival of Art - For more than 50 years, the Festival of Art has been the island's first rite of spring. It is a celebration of visual, literary, performing, musical and culinary arts. The show has won Best Art Show in Alabama three times in the past five years by the luxury magazine "ALABAMA" and is currently ranked in the top 100 of national fine art and design shows.

This fine arts festival is completely free with music and entertainment featured on two stages. You can be a part of it by volunteering or purchasing art through our Patron of the Arts program. There are multiple parking options.

24 - 27 Annual Thunder on the Gulf - Power Boat Race - Racers start your engines! Enjoy the roar and rumble as offshore's finest power boats compete for the enjoyment of fans. The Race Village will be located at The Wharf where fans can see the powerboats, meet the racers, and purchase race merchandise.

20 - 21 Bama Coast Cruisin Car Show - Held during the Annual Orange Beach Freedom Fest Saturday and Sunday of the 3rd weekend in September. The goal of Bama Coast Cruisin' is to create an inclusive show that welcomes anyone who loves cars and enjoys cruisin' the open road. There are no restrictions to the vehicles that can be entered into the show. Their motto is: "Bring your dream ride & cruise with us!" 20 - 21 Orange Beach Freedom Fest - The Annual Orange Beach Freedom Fest and Bama Coast Cruisin' Fall Car Show will be held on Saturday and Sunday at The Wharf. The nonprofit Gulf Coast Gun Collectors Association's Collectible Firearms Show will be held, as well, at the Orange Beach Event Center.

Freedom Fest weekend will kick off Saturday at 9 a.m. with arts and crafts vendors, outdoor experience booths, patriotic military booths and food vendors on the Wharf's west side. Live music will be provided by Flora-Bama and Coastal. Bama Coast Cruisin' show’s vintage and classic cars will be lining Main Street and Wharf Parkway, along with a Kids' Zone, sponsored by the Police Benevolent Fund, next to the Ferris wheel.

On Saturday, a motorcycle and Jeep rally is expected to add to the festive weekend, including a beach cruise at noon. Bama Coast Cruisin' participants will have their own parade to the beach late Saturday afternoon.

The Flora-Bama/CoastAL Music Stage will include two full days of music on the vendor side of the festival.

6 - 16 Annual Frank Brown Songwriters Festival - Musicians from all over the world bring magical music to the Gulf Coast in November. Participating venues range from Gulf Shores, Orange Beach to Perdido Key and Pensacola. Music of all genres will be performed throughout the festival, which serves as a time for hit writers, aspiring newcomers, and an audience that appreciates great music to come together.
